One of my favorite trends is winter neutrals. There’s just something about wearing crisp, clean looks during cold winter months. Don’t get me wrong, I love bright colors and patterns, too – there’s just something so classy about neutrals in the winter.
Neutrals are parallel to the classic Bond girl outfits in 007 as well as Audrey Hepburn’s coveted wardrobe from any movie she’s ever been in. Not to mention, neutrals aren’t the most difficult to style and can be appropriate for every occasion.
I love wearing monochromatic looks, i.e. all white, shades of grey, shades of camel. But, color blocking neutrals can also be just as classic. But, when it comes to neutrals, you don’t want to under-do it. This can make your look a little underwhelming and maybe even a bit boring.
For this look, I color blocked two different shades of camel with black. So that my outfit wasn’t completely neutral, I went for the lace-up mock neck sweater and over-the-knee boots.
Neutrals and muted tones are soothing and easy on the eyes.
