Wella Color Hair Show Spring 2016

I was so excited to have been part of this Wella Clairol color show again this month. It was an extraordinary experience and one I will never forget. The photo above shows international artist, Paul Vega, sectioning my hair to paint it. Painting hair is a technique used to get the hair color looking more natural and to get that balayage effect. My natural hair color is dark brown and here I have dark blonde hair color all over. I was curious to see what a lot of blonde hilights would do to my hair.

The bright blonde hilights added dimension to my hair and it no longer appeared dull and boring. These images show Lindsay Cronje and Christopher drying and styling my hair so that I can hurry back on stage. for the final part. At this point I didn't know what I looked like, and I was anxious and excited at the same time. I really wanted to get a sneak peek, but I wasn't able to until the very end of the show.

For the finale celebrity hair stylist, DaRico Jackson, styles my hair in an edgy undo. The hair style was similar to a faux hawk, but classic enough to wear to a wedding or dinner out.

Altogether, the show was a ton of fun, the people were great and I loved the way my hair turned out!
I will definitely be posting some hair tutorials in the near future, so make sure you keep updated on my blog and you can find out what I'm posting by following my instagram or facebook.
