As Thanksgiving day quickly approaches, I wanted to share one of my Thanksgiving week outfit ideas and hopefully you'll find some inspiration for your outfit this week.
If you're hosting Thanksgiving at your place this year, then you probably have little time to take your outfit into consideration. If you're the guest, this outfit is also the appropriate combination of colors, modesty and sustainable fashion.
But, have you given it any thought lately? If not, here are some thoughts for you- You want your outfit to be comfortable and easy to move around in, since you're probably going to be cooking, cleaning and setting your decorations before everyone gets there. You probably also don't want to wear a thick sweater, since you'll be moving around quite a bit and possible even be near that hot oven or stove. Here's where this outfit comes into play. This burnt orange skirt is the perfect material to wear during the Fall season, and is appropriately the color for Thanksgiving. It's long hemline makes it a comfortable choice for moving around and even sitting without having to worry about how short it rides up. Pair it with a light, flowy top so you don't feel like you're getting heatstroke. I paired this outfit with leopard heels, but you can always ditch the heels for some comfy flats or booties. To top the Thanksgiving outfit off, I paired it with some sustainable fashion pieces from SOLOHOPE.ORG and BOUGHTBEAUTIFULLY.ORG
