Eyebrows on point!

Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary eyebrow threading at Wink and the following blog post contains my own thoughts and opinions.

Eyebrows are and have been an important part of beauty and fashion since Ancient Egyptian times (around 3500 B.C.) !! Currently, a thick bold brow is fashion again, but not all of us have the brows to sport the look. That's totally fine!! I do not have big bold brows and personally I do not think they would suit me, anyway. The key to having eyebrows on point, though, is to have them neat and groomed. Your eyebrows are on your face and even help frame the face.

If you're anything like me, then you only go to one person that you know can shape your eyebrows to your liking, or you do them at home yourself.  But, I was recently given the opportunity to try eyebrow threading, and I thought "why not!" As someone who has always waxed my eyebrows, I was a bit scared of the whole threading thing. I've heard so many people complain about how much threading hurts, but when I did my research I found that threading is actually a lot healthier for your skin than waxing is. At this point, I was pretty much excited to try out a new way of eyebrow grooming- threading.

My review of Wink threading:

I decided to try the location in Dallas, TX. As I entered the Wink threading salon, I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous as I was about to try something totally new to me. The atmosphere inside the salon was calming and quite relaxing. I didn't need to make an appointment as eyebrow threading takes probably half the time of eyebrow waxing, so I patiently waited my turn.

When it was my turn to get my eyebrows threaded I relaxed in the chair. I was seriously expecting the threading to be more painful than eyebrow waxing, so I braced myself. Luckily, it was the complete opposite of what I was expecting. What I felt was something sort of relaxing as I felt the thread pass over my skin. The threading was over so quickly that I couldn't believe it and when the woman that threaded my eyebrows handed me the mirror I was so happy that my eyebrows were cleaned up and looked ten times better than I imagined.

With that being said, I strongly suggest that you check out Wink threading. They have a couple different locations, including Dallas, Fortworth and even in Austin!
