Kurt Cobain Inspired

I've had  this crop top for at least two years now and I've always been so embarrassed to wear it out. I decided to woman up and give it a try. It wasn't all that bad, actually. I paired it with some high-rise BDG jeans that I've worn way too many times, but they are my favorite pair of jeans. I was tempted to throw a denim shirt over the top to kind of cover up a bit, but the color clashed with my jeans. Maybe if I wore darker jeans they wouldn't clash so much.
My inspiration for this look was the documentary on Kurt Cobain, "Montage of Heck". Watching the home-made clips of Kurt & Courtney in the late 80's and 90's reminded me of how grunge the style used to be. And listening to the music played in the doc made me want to listen to Nirvana over and over again. Thus, my almost 90's look with the blue and red striped crop top and high-rise jeans.
